When Valmet modernised the Butler Elgamill machining centre at its Lahdesjärvi works in Tampere, OTX delivered the electrical and automation design, legacy code migration, sequence design and virtual commissioning — jumping several control generations to Siemens Sinumerik ONE and Simatic S7-1500F. The machine now runs fault-free, machining pressure parts for the world's largest recovery boiler.
